Filmed at home, on their own phones
Real customers, real bags
No actors and no studio — just women who ordered one and pointed a phone at it.
The studio is closing
How can the bag be free?
After eight years I'm closing the studio, and I'd rather these totes were carried than left in boxes. So the bag itself is yours — you only cover the postage.

Why you'll love it
Eight years of drawing, printing and stitching in a garden studio — this is what that looks like.
Drawn by hand
Every cat, iris and wildflower began as a pencil drawing at my table — never clip-art.
Heavy cotton canvas
Thick and structured, so it holds books, groceries and everything else you fill it with.
Double-stitched straps
Seams and straps are reinforced, so they won't stretch or fray on your shoulder.
One at a time
No production line. Each bag is finished and checked by me before it's wrapped.
Meet the maker
The woman behind the stitching
I taught art for thirty-one years. When I retired, my husband cleared out the shed at the end of the garden and I turned it into a little studio.
I draw the cats, the irises and the wildflowers by hand, print them onto heavy cotton canvas, and stitch each bag myself. No factory, no design team — just me, my table and the radio.
After eight years my hands have decided it's time to stop. Rather than let the last of my stock sit in boxes, I'd like every one of them to go to someone who'll actually use it.

Frequently Asked Questions
I'm closing my studio after eight years, and I'd rather every tote went to someone who'll actually carry it than sit in a box in storage. The bag itself is $0.00 — you cover tracked shipping and nothing else. No subscription, no second parcel, no catch.
Every bag comes in one size — there's nothing to choose. The exact measurements in centimetres are listed in the description on each product page, so you can check it against a bag you already own before you order.
Heavy cotton canvas with reinforced, double-stitched straps. Spot clean, or hand wash gently in cool water and air dry. The colours stay bright wash after wash.
Your parcel leaves the studio within a day or two, and you'll get tracking by email as soon as it does. Most orders arrive within 7–12 days.
My lifetime stitch promise: if a seam or a strap ever gives out, write to me and I'll replace your tote free, for as long as you own it. And if you simply don't love it, you have 30 days to tell me.
Email info@irisandivy.com any day of the week. A real person reads every message and replies, usually within a day. 🌿
A note from Iris
Please be careful of copies
Since word got out that I'm closing, I've seen my drawings turn up on other shops — printed thin, sewn badly, and sold as mine. It's disheartening after eight years.
If you'd like one of my totes, please only order here. Every bag on this page comes from my studio, wrapped by my hands, with my lifetime stitch promise behind it.
